Is there anyone on this forum which has some information or the / papers on After-mounted sun roof of this type?

What kind of information do you exactly need ? The roof has got an E-number and is approved in this way for use in all European countries in the ECE-area of application. Can you explain what is your expected problem with it ?

In Germany all parts with E-numbers have regulary an ABE (German for Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis) and can be mounted by anyone w/o any approval by the authorities.

The thing is that I live in Norway, which has a number of separate laws since we are not members of EU (European Union) authorities in Norway requires Tuv / Abe - papers on aftermarket sunroof. Might sound pretty stupid, but no papers, no plates I am looking for Abe / Tuv securities or any web site of the manufacturer of this sunroof. I can not find information about this brand, possible factory no longer exists. I can weld up the hole, but it is the last option.....

Don't mix this, ECE is not limted on the EU-area or EU-members. Norway is member of the ECE and parts from there will be marked with E16 and can be used in Germany like E1 marked parts made in Germany themself.

If the company VELM SPA (this looks to me like an Italian or Spanish company due to the writing should be correct S.p.A. for an Italian incorporation) do not exist anymore an approval of the authorities in Germany can be organized by looking for the KBA number in the database of TÜV or DEKRA.

BUT this will work in Gemany only. TÜV or DEKRA do not deliver these expertises "in paper" to private persons. The data base is dedicated for internal use only. So if the ECE-option will not work I do not have further ideas for you.
