Selling a car to Germany?

I'm thinking of selling my Scirocco. :sorry:

I wonder if it would be worth advertising it in Germany or if my modifications would make it impossible for a buyer to import and register it there?

It's a 1981 GTI, converted to a 1.8Ts 20v (AJL engine from a 1998 Audi A4)
The engine is all original except for the intercooler...passes emissions tests and is fully roadlegal here in Sweden...

Nice one :sabber: :super: Also like the first piccie on your website :super:

That engine change shouldn´t really be a problem, may need some paperwork sorting by the buyer in Germany, and if that fails, it may have to go to a Einzelabnahmeone-off test of a given modification, as you can imagine, very expensive), but again that´s for any German uyer to sort, really.

Why not also advertise your Rocco on the GB Sciroccoregister: http://www.sciroccoregisterforum.co.uk/carforum/? OK, steering wheel may then be on the ¨wrong¨ side, but that shouldn´t stop a seasoned Rocco fanatic, plus in the UK the authorities aren´t as strict as in Germany as far as mods are concerned :grins:

Then again, why sell????
