At this weekend's Classic Car Show there were quite a few traders selling these models, didn't buy one because I want my parents to give me one for Xmas, and they might as well buy it on-site in Germany, so to speak
Looking at both colours, I was a wee bit disappointed with the orange/red one, as I had expected it to be a deeper red. The mistake I immediately spotted on the orange/red one was the same mistake as on all recent 1/18-scale Corrado models by Revell: Chrome bump strips along the doors !!!
Will be getting myself the silver one.

Nope, I have seen this model with my own very eyes, which although they can look piercing, they lack a built-in flashProbably the red only looks faded due to the flash.
Indeed an option, not standard. Still doesn't look right somehowthere were chrome strips as an option the early Mk1 Sciroccos
so that is no mistake.
I'll ignore the other comment Happines is plastic, or something like that

Anyway, if the chrome bumpstrips are not a mistake, what are the mistakes in the Revell models then?
You can't do that! I haven't even had a chance to testplay the refurbished version There's a penalty and points for doing this you know

That all went a bit quickly, I must say.
Fortunately I don't get bored enough with stuff that I have done amounts of work to as to want to sell the relevant item. Hence I will be hanging on to my yoghurt cup (aka Mk1 Rocco ) like a leech to a wound
For the record: Porsches are for old gits. This is actually true: You look at the average Porsche driver, all old guys who are still trying to live some youth dream. it just LOOKS so wrong! The only younger Porsche drivers are usually snobs/yuppies/everything else contrary to the typical Rocco-driver
