Well, i thought of the possibility, if the tyres may rubb at any parts, but if it´s not so, than it´s even more sick. :sabber:
And yes, you´re right, your MK1 won´t be allowed on our streets, because youre tyres are standing out of the body. If they were covered, than it would be allowed.
And 255 wide rubbers. :sabber: In Germany only the widebody sciroccos are driving so wide rubbers. Now i fell some kind of lost with my 195 tyres. :hihi:

My tires are wide but not so good for street use. No rain groves. I run 185s on my MK1s and 195s on my MK2 on the street. So we both "feel some kind of loss."

It is a sport called Solo. SCCA runs it. It is a Time trial series.
Like Rally the cars are sent out with a space between them.
The cars complete an obstacle track without hitting any cones.
Many of the cars in the top ten are from different classes.
The top ten are listed as if all 266 cars were in the same class.
Ranking is from adding up all race times for the year to date.
Most of the top ten cars are class leaders.
Each class has modification restrictions.
The top ten cars listed by class are:

1) BSP EVO (1st in class)
2) SM BMW M3 (1st in class)
3) FP BMW M3 (1st in class)
4) AS S2000 03 (1st in class)
5) ST CIVIC (1st in class)
6) CSM VETT (1st in class)
7) AS S2000 CR (2nd in class)
8) ST CIVIC (2nd in class)
9) F125 Shifter cart (1st in class)
10 FSP Scirocco (1st in class)

Classes include:
Stock with race tires and a few modifications. SS, AS, BS, CS, DS, ES, FS, GS, HS.
Stock with street tires and a few modifications. SKSS, SKAS, SKBS, SKCS, SKDS, SKES, SKFS, SKGS, SKHS.
Modified cars with street tires: ST, STS, STX, STU
Prepared cars with race tires: ASP, BSP, CSP, DSP, ESP, FSP.
Modified cars with race tires: SM, SM2
Track Prepared cars: XP, AP, BP, CP, DP, EP, FP, GP.
Mod Track Prepared cars: AM, BM, CM, DM, FM
F125 Shifter cart
