Funnily enough, looking at the BA website, their delay is not necessarily to do with not getting an onward flight out of Hetahrow to Amsterdam due to increased security checks, but more down to a horribly delayed flight out of Phoenix !!! Should have arrived 13:10, arrived at 17:48, otherwise they could have easily caught the onward flight to A'dam, which was scheduled for 15:55, actually left at 16:29.
