New Scirocco

Well, ... it's been 13 years since the last type 53 rolled off the assembly lines at Karmann, somehow that doesn't really make it a genuine type 53 anymore.

It won't even be built by Karmann

It looks OK from the side, but the front and particularly the rear lights can do with tidying up. Apart from that, all the pictures released so far are most likely fakes, Photochops or whatever you want to call it, but not the real thing.

We'll have to wait and see, then again 22000 Euros is a lot of money for a new car, in my book anyway

This week's Auto-Express magazine in the UK also has a full feature on the new Scirocco, but when you realise that Auto-Express is owned by Axel-Springer Verlag, same people who publish the German Autobild, then you also realise that the pictures used in both mags are all identical
