"An augmented version of the VW Scirocco (which is an older brother of the VW Golf), the VW Scirocco Racing has demonstrated the best aspect of its characteristics at the races it has entered. Its wide tread and four-wheel independent suspension give the car superb driving characteristics as well as outstanding safety features under the most difficult racing conditions. The front-wheel drive fully responds to the wedge-shaped body and the wide racing tires give further accent to this top-level racing machine. Its tuned-up 1600-cc 4-cylinder engine delivers about 180 HP, which is quite impressive for a car that weighs only 750 kg. Thus, the fact that it has been winning leading places at every race it has entered, comes as no surprise."
Ahhhh, wie schön
