Yes, very sad incident with Timmy.

Hoping that my parents' cat is going to make it, still in the danger zone. The little blighters get you sooo involved. I think I'll miss Timmy, when I'm visiting Dirk's place again, no-one to greet me at the door and immediately climb into me.
that's exactly me

and I want it before I look too old
Erm, no, I won't say anything now  Just remember one thing: Who do we/you normally impress with cars like Porsches, Rocos etc.? Exactly, kids and teenagers, who can't afford either. Now, I can still remember the dys as a kid when I saw some git in a Porsche, thinking to myself "Gosh, I wonder whether he can still get it up, he's that old!" You see, the point I'm trying to make is that we/you can impress kids by driving these cars when you're as close as possible in age to their age. That's what makes them really jealous!

I suddenly realise my age ... far far away from the teenie days. OK, I'll shut up then

Dirk and Tina,

This is very sad news. I remember your Timmy cat pictures fondly from 2002 when he was young and adventurous. It is best to think of all the joy that Timmy felt because of his great house mates (you and Tina and Fritz) We will print out his picture and put it with our Christmas card collection at our house.

On the issue of door ding strips, All the US cars came with chrome trim strip versions with the exception of the 1978 Champaign (did not have the strips at all) and the S models (that had red trim). I agree that the chrome trim looks correct on the early version cars that have the window track sub "A" pillar in chrome.

:super: Good one indeed :-)

You're foryunate too, that Revell used the same colours on their models as your real Roccos :-)
