Ah, now the Mustang is almost in the same league as Ford's only really iconic car, the GT40 But even back then, I guess, when the Mustang appealed to a certain group, the masses were still buying mainly crap. So I'll let you off, Doug, for successfully having proven to be different to the masses

The later Fords, typicallly built for the masses, a good example being the pimped up rental car , of course are utter mass-market produced crap for the utilitarian car-buyer (Wouldn't the roads be so much better and safer, if we car-enthusiasts removed all those car-drivers that view their car as an appliance? Just a thought ).
